Well.. it is almost time to ship off to Guatemala. 22 days from now I will be boarding a flight at 6:25 in the morning with a destination of Guatemala City, Guatemala where I will then get on a bus for 5-7 hours to get to Quetzaltenango, or Xela! This is where our host family stay will be.
Excitement is building because I can almost see the 10 day weather forecast, but it is currently 64 degrees there. Just a bit of a difference from the chilly day in Minnesota.
When it gets closer to New Years Day, hopefully all of you will cross your fingers and put in a few good words that our group will get down to Guatemala without any hitches or any plane delays due to snow!
